An Attitude of
gratitude
What are Your Counselors Grateful For?
Mrs. Roberts 8th Grade
Feelings of gratitude don't always come naturally, especially in times of struggle or stress. But an attitude of gratitude is something we can cultivate in our lives through practice and intention. Now, more than ever, it is natural to focus on things we are having to do without (visiting with friends, shopping, watching sports, eating out in restaurants) but in challenging and changing our minds and perspectives to being grateful for the things we do have (our health, more quality time with family, time to rest and reset, a chance to reflect), we will notice a change in the way we feel! I challenge each of you to take some time this week/month and think about the things you are grateful for. You can use the list given or simply take time throughout the coming weeks to make your own list of things you are grateful for.
